Do you feel stuck? Do you keep recreating the same patterns over and over in your attempts to improve your health, relationships, career, or work/life stresses BUT ALWAYS expect different results?

I specialize in working with people who struggle with such issues as:

  • Relationship
  • Intimacy
  • Divorce/blended families
  • Disordered eating
  • Body Image
  • Self esteem
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Life stressors
  • Loss and grief
  • Codependency
  • Parenting
  • Midlife transitions

Working together, you will develop greater internal awareness, insights, coping strategies, tools, and a better understanding of how you past impacts your present. As a result, you will lead a more joyful, fulfilling life and develop greater internal peace and confidence that you can create the life you want.

My philosophy is NOT a one-size-fits-all approach. Having many years of experience, I found that utilizing a variety of forms of treatment is most effective in promoting growth and change.

Therapeutic modalities used:

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Family systems theory
  • Body/mind techniques
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I provide counseling to adults, couples, families, and groups. Within the supportive, nurturing, nonjudgmental environment of my practice, you will have the opportunity to explore your goals and dreams and examine what prevents you from moving forward toward positive change.

In addition to my private therapy practice, I developed and direct Slimworks®, a non-diet, mindful eating program, designed to help you lose weight and transform your relationship with food, your body, and yourself.

My intentions are to help you develop a stronger sense of yourself as well as address and change the limiting beliefs preventing you from moving forward in your life. In so doing, you will feel empowered to take charge of your life and make conscious, thoughtful decisions. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a collaborative one in which I can help you to live fully and reach your true potential.
